In Pictures: The 2024 Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

Congratulations to the design team for the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games on a stunning event!  The spectacle took place in the 80,000 seat Stade de France in Paris, France on August 11. 

Artistic Director Thomas Jolly created the stunning Closing Ceremonies for the games with a team including:

Kudos to Antoine Travert for a lighting design flexible enough to incorporate circus, a classical orchestra, and pop bands, and including the stadium audience in the action with a lighting sequence using PixMob wristbands depicting Ancient Greek sports.

The host stadium was one of many pre-existing venues used for this Olympics. Paris chose to host 95% of the events in existing or temporary structures rather than building permanent venues.
