Hopin and CogX Announce Three-Year Partnership

Popular virtual event platform Hopin and CogX Festival have announced a three-year deal to power ongoing hybrid experiences. This multi-year agreement demonstrates the festival organizers’ confidence in the value that virtual and hybrid events will continue to deliver even beyond the pandemic.

The CogX Global Leadership Summit and Festival of AI and Transformational Technology has historically been an in-person show with an attendance of around 15,000 people, and it attracted 44,000 attendees in 2020 when it pivoted to a fully virtual event. This year, it will return in a hybrid format — the largest hybrid event of its kind to date — with the onsite portion taking place in London.

The Festival will run from June 14th to 16th and will feature 1,000 prominent speakers, including Matthew McConaughey and British Airway CEO Sean Doyle, who will address the theme of, “How do we get the next 10 years right?” Over 100,000 attendees are expected to participate online, while 5,000 will be present onsite.

“We’re delighted to be back at CogX Festival, now as the official platform partner, to host this groundbreaking hybrid event,” Johnny Boufarhat, Founder & CEO of Hopin, said in a statement. “We are proud to align our purpose-driven missions and collaborate with CogX to celebrate innovation and inspire leaders while helping the festival extend its reach to connect both virtual and in-person attendees all over the globe.”

Over the next three years, Hopin and CogX will work together to combine the best of what both virtual and face-to-face experiences have to offer, further enhancing the Festival’s engagement and inclusivity.

Charlie Muirhead, Co-Founder & CEO of CogX Festival, said in a statement: “As a Festival we’ve doubled in size each year and we’re on track to do that again, connecting with more people than ever before, both physically and virtually, and bringing together the most incredible cross sections of society focused on the overall ambition of ‘How do we get the next 10 years right?’ – a question that could not be more urgent.”
