Oki’s electrifying, We Are Era 47 concert tour presented live performance visuals, blending artistry and technology into an unforgettable experience for fans. At the core of this achievement was the LightAct media server and software, expertly operated by the creative and technical team at Mech Creative.
Mech Creative, LightAct’s long-time partner in Poland, has been a member of the LightAct Frontrunner initiative from its inception. Through it, they could experience the growth of LightAct as a media server firsthand. In 2024, they realized LightAct is mature and stable enough for them to switch from other media server and to use it as the main media server for the We Are Era 47 tour of a famous Polish rapper Oki.

The tour preparation began in the summer of 2024 with the tour starting in the Polish city of Gdańsk. LightAct’s versatile Unit V emerged as the ideal solution for tackling this ambitious project, which enabled the team to align visuals with Oki’s high-energy performances flawlessly.
Kuba Czarnik, co-owner of Mech Creative, who designed lighting and multimedia and was LightAct operator in this tour, used LightAct’s new feature called Canvas Maps and new sequencing tools to the full extent.
“LightAct 4.9 introduced Canvas Maps and Output Maps, which greatly streamline the mapping of content to video screens. LightAct’s sequencing tools are very intuitive and fast to work with so switching to LightAct was very smooth.”
Mech Creative effectively utilized four video capture inputs provided in their Unit v server and optimized performance using LightAct's flexible node graph called Layer Layouts. That allowed them to switch video inputs on and off automatically during the live show.
“It was really easy to post-process live inputs without having to use any 3rd party tools,” added Kuba.
A key facilitator in the success of this tour was Stage Source, a trusted lighting and audio-video equipment distributor for the event, stage, and TV markets. As the official distributor of LightAct in Poland, Stage Source provided Mech Creative with the necessary equipment to bring this ambitious vision to life.
