Live Design's fifth annual 31 Days Of Plots features one production per day during the month of December 2022, highlighting a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, live for broadcast, and more, as we wind down 2022 and head toward the new year.
Here are the lighting plots for the Oscars at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, along with crew and gear lists for the event which wowed the entertainment world on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
Things were a little different this year, with a supper club look at the front of the theatre, with tables and chairs on platforms built out over the seats by All Access, as the Oscars celebrated the best (and perhaps the worst of Hollywood). The lighting, which changed color for each hour of the show, enhanced the glamorous set designed by David Korins.
