Plot Luck: Manny Treeson Lights Great Wolf Lodge

Manny Treeson, a principal at NYX Design, has designed the lighting for Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD. a BRC Imagination Arts project. 

"The lighting design for the Phase 4 Great Wolf Lodge is focused around support for the evening show titled, The Legend of Luna, and it also needs to create a totally different look and feels for the lobby throughout the day," says Treeson. "The architecture lobby design is inspired by great tradition of national park lodges in the northwest.  Specifically, lodges with great wood beams, vaulted spaces, and magnificent central fireplaces, which serve as the gathering space for all events in the lodge. During  the day the lodge has a warm inviting feel lit all in tones of tungsten light. We created the experience for the evening show by integrated lighting that concealed the technology from the guest view but still allowed us to paint the entire room with light and animated images to immerse the guests in Luna’s world. "
