The 40th annual Lucille Lortel Awards were presented at NYU's Skirball Center on Sunday May 4, 2025. Named for Lucille Lortel, an actress and theater producer, these awards have been around since 1986. They are produced by the Off-Broadway League and the Lucille Lortel Theatre, with additional support from the Theatre Development Fund.
