The Golden Ghostlight Runners (GGR), a peer-driven community of entertainment technology and architecture professionals, has announced a final campaign to meet its year-end fundraising target of $2,800 for the Behind The Scenes Foundation (BTS). The deadline for this critical push coincides with the group’s two year anniversary celebration at the annual LDI Rise and Shine 5K on December 7th in Las Vegas.
GGR urgently calls on industry peers, companies, and supporters to donate quickly to help close the final gap and ensure the Foundation can continue providing crucial mental health and financial assistance to stagehands, technicians, and designers in need.
"Every mile we run, walk, or jog is a direct effort to strengthen the safety net for our colleagues," said a spokesperson for GGR. "We've seen incredible support over the last two years, but we need the industry's help now to hit this goal before our anniversary celebration at LDI. Reaching $2,800 is vital to providing immediate support to those who need it most this holiday season."
The Behind The Scenes Foundation provides grants for emergency financial needs and counseling services for entertainment technology workers.
