To all friends of LDI,
We can't wait to welcome you back to LDI 2025 and show you our expanded show floor, record number of training courses and conference sessions, and new features including our inaugural VJ Challenge, an expanded three-day Career Fair, XLIVE: Concert Touring Sessions, and Dining with Dinosaurs Dinner Evening Reception.
While there is so much more to do this year, we are hoping that some of you will find time to help us support the next generation of live entertainment professionals.
We hope you will take the opportunity to offer just a small amount of your time for Career Coaching and Mentorship during the two events below:
Career Fair – Career Coaching – Sunday 12/7, Monday 12/8, Tuesday 12/9
As part of the career fair, we would like to offer attendees the chance to sit down with a career coach and receive guidance and support on topics like application and interview prep, finances, resumes, career exploration, networking and personal branding strategies, evaluation and negotiation skills, job search strategies, work life balance, developing resilience, building a diverse portfolio, goal setting and more. If you feel that you have a strong voice to be helpful in one or many of these areas, we would love to have you as a career coach! We’re looking to have career coaches rotate with two-hour time slots.
LDInnovation League + Mentoring Meet Up Networking Event – Monday, Dec. 8, 4:00-5:00pm, Career Fair Lounge
We will all gather and have a casual networking mentoring meet up. Attendees take a Topic Card (see below) at their arrival with what they are interested in talking about. The goal is to have mentors align with a topic they feel strong mentorship with. We’ll stand in a circle, start with a quick icebreaker, then hold up the cards to see the commonality. From this, smaller groups are formed where our mentors can lead the topics with these mentees.
