Wanna hang out in a bar in support of the charity that takes care of your community? It's a tough job but we wouldn't ask if we didn't think you were up to it...
Monday's Fedora Night at the Crystal Bar at Resorts World is mainly a fundraiser for Behind the Scenes but also a lowkey way to show off your stylish headgear in a town with too many cowboy hats.
As Herrick Goldman of Evoke Collaborative says, "No fedora? No problem! Show up anyway. Donate if you’d like. Snap pics. Post the fun. Tag your crew. It’s about showing up, showing style — and showing support."
For each fedora spotted, Evoke Collaborative will donate to Behind the Scenes. All are welcome to donate as well. Use this QR code to donate directly:

Basic Needs Grants
If you are seriously injured on the job Behind the Scenes can help you out until you are back on your feet.
Counseling Grants
Life can be hard and being out on the road or working nights away from you family can make it harder. Counseling grants can help live entertainment professionals get into therapy or rehab.
Mental Health Initiative
Another way Behind the Scenes can help is with these tools and resources for live entertainment workers and their families. You should not have to sacrifice your wellness and health for your job, especially a job that brings such joy to so many.
You can use these links to learn more about the ways Behind the Scenes can help, and you can also check here to find ways that you can support Behind the Scenes and your colleagues in the community. Support can be through virtual trainings to identify and assist colleagues, and also work to eliminate bullying and harassment in the workplace. You can also start a Ghostlight Group and raise funds, and you can also join the Pledge of Support Program.
During LDI you can help Shine a Light on Mental Health and join one or more of the activities during the show. You can also join in Fedora Night for a Cause, one of the more fun ways to make a difference. For some of you it won't require a break in your LDI traditions, for others, it is a chance to start a fun new one and let's face it, the freedom to hang out with your friends in a most excellent establish may be one of the reasons you stick around in this job.
Just show up at the Crystal Bar at Resorts World on Monday night after dinner, wear a fedora (if you are super suave) or not, if you don't want to, (we are ALL about consent) and hang out with your people. You can donate to Behind the Scenes if you like, its up to you, but spread the word so that all your industry peeps know about Behind the Scenes and the crucial support it provides for the industry.
