Hx Pro Inc., a leading Manila-based professional audio rental company, has officially taken delivery of the Philippines’ first DiGiCo Quantum 852 console, reinforcing its position as one of Southeast Asia’s premier DiGiCo rental partners. The system was delivered in December by Joint Venture Inc. and is now part of the company’s expanding inventory for large-scale productions.
The DiGiCo Quantum 852 is DiGiCo’s flagship console and this acquisition marks a significant milestone for the local live sound industry, bringing one of DiGiCo’s most powerful and advanced mixing platforms into the Philippine market. Hx Pro Inc. is a well-established equipment provider based in Mandaluyong, specialising in high-end audio, lighting and video solutions. Managing Director of Hx Pro Inc, Rex Maliuanag, explains that the company had planned the investment since the console’s initial announcement.
“We’ve been eyeing the Quantum 852 from the moment it was introduced,” he says. “Due to strong global demand, it took some time before our allocation became available. For us, the decision to bring it in-house was a natural step.”
As one of the region’s largest DiGiCo rental partners, the team at Hx Pro Inc. view the DiGiCo Quantum 852 as a strategic addition to complete its Quantum Series lineup. They are also seeing early signs that upcoming 2026 technical riders are increasingly specifying the Quantum 852, already a preferred or required console for major productions.
Alongside the Quantum 852, Hx Pro Inc. also received the country’s first Fourier transform.engine with transform.suite installed. After an early demonstration, the team recognised its potential to expand engineers creative and technical capabilities through seamless console integration and native VST plugin support.
“The Fourier platform impressed us immediately,” Maliuanag added. “Integration with DiGiCo consoles is seamless, and the ability to support industry standard VST plugins within that workflow gives our engineers greater flexibility and control.”
With these latest additions, Hx Pro Inc. continues to invest in next generation audio technology to support touring, broadcast, and large-format live productions across the region.
