PCPA – Pacific Conservatory Theatre is seeking a full-time Assistant Technical Director to join our production team! The Assistant Technical Director (a full-time, non-exempt position), with the Technical Director, is responsible for all scenery production for all shows and events; communicates and coordinates among other shop personnel and department heads concerning building schedules, the status of construction; and, in the absence of the Technical Director, participates in technical rehearsals and production meetings. The Assistant Technical Director supervises the staff and students in scenery construction; assists with purchases, as well as the purchase and maintenance of equipment; supplies for the scene shop.ction staff to help bring exceptional shows to life — supporting both mainstage productions and our conservatory’s training mission.

Entertainment Rigging Inspector, Sapsis Rigging
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience inspecting rigging and safety issues in a variety of venues.
- Able to interact with clients on the jobsite.
- Familiarity with entertainment venues on cruise ships.
- Experience with mechanized rigging and automation systems.
- Ability to work at height as a climber or in lifts.
- Experience with basic computer office software.
- Ability to write well and produce reports in a timely fashion.
- ETCP certification required (or must get certified within 3 months of accepting position).

Coordinator, Technical Creative, Universal Creative
Job Summary
The Coordinator, Technical is primarily responsible for preparing and managing all overall ride/show engineering project correspondence as well as the overall administrative/document controls functions that are critical to the development of large multi-faceted themed attractions and ensuring these are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes the oversight of all the related project development, facility and construction functions, including accurate and timely entry of ride/show action items and/or processes; transmittals, daily reports, project meeting minutes; and tracking systems for ride show engineering project team.
Some Responsibilities
Manages various action items or processes. This includes, but is not limited to Transmittals for Document Controls, Vendors, and any tier Sub Contractor; Meeting Minutes, Request for Information (RFIs), Correspondence, Spreadsheets, Quality Check of Directives/Potential Change Orders (PCOs), Daily Reports. Initiate and Close Out documentation based on established policies and procedures.
Coordinates with Responsible Individuals (RIs) and Compliance Management in order to track and report status updates to Project Management on an on-going basis for vendor deliverables.
Partners with the Legal Department to communicate with contractors/vendors as needed by providing project updates, scope revisions and schedule changes to ensure contractors/vendors remain informed on project status at all times.
Partners with Finance to ensure accurate commitment of project expenditures and to ensure timely and accurate processing of Directives and Change Orders.
Responsible for identifying ways to improve the efficiency/accuracy of the project documentation process which is critical to maintenance of overall project schedule.
Prepares overall project correspondence. Assists with the implementation and compliance of established project documentation policies and procedures.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
High school degree or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering/Technical related field is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years project management / construction / engineering / technical theater related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software required and Prolog management system preferred.
