LDI 2024: Day Three Cheat Sheet

Welcome to the last day of the show, it’s been quite a ride and it is not over yet.

Don’t miss the LDI Booth and Product Awards Breakfast, we’ll be unveiling the companies who impressed us this year, introducing you to the Pat MacKay Diversity in Design scholarship recipients, and announcing the Battle of the Busk media and lighting design winners. Plus it’s a free coffee and pastry, sweet! Doors open at 8.45, don’t be late.

The Women In Tech Keynote Brunch featuring Emily Malone, Head of Live Events at Disguise, takes place at 10.30am on the DSE keynote stage. Malone will discuss, "The Transformation Of Live Concerts To Cultural Phenomena" and it is presented in association with Women in Lighting, USITT, URTA, TSDCA, Sound Girls, and Tech 25, to promote the role of women in our industry. This keynote and brunch can be purchased à la carte at LDI registration.

The Expo Hall is still open from 10 to 3pm with lots of live events, demos, new product releases and some exceptional swag.

If all the travel and tough hours this year have taken a toll, the Wellness Lounge is open from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for yoga, information on mental and physical health, and other activities. The Lounge is on the LDI show floor, and you can also visit the Behind The Scenes booth 1100 to find out more about Mental Health Initiatives and buy some holiday cards, ornaments, and decorations. Every purchases helps out a colleague in the industry.

Be Seen, Be Heard Community Meet Up takes place from 12 to 1:30 in room W310. Following the success of the recent ‘Be Seen, Be Heard’ event in London, the Be Seen, Be Heard community is now bringing the conversation to the US. The London event earlier this year organized by frame:workProduction Futures, and Disguise, produced the Be Seen, Be Heard manifesto, a progressive living document, and a call to action, that outlines steps for creating an industry workforce that fully reflects and represents the full diversity of society.

LDInnovation Conference continues with many more sessions including The Art of Programming: Television Variety Specials with Eric Marchwinski from 11:45 - 12:45 on the Battle Of The Busk Stage and other sessions from ETC, RCF, and ClearCom.

And if you are still on your feet, join LDI After Dark at Omnia (Caesars Palace).
