London Theatre Celebrates Paule Constable's Sixth Olivier Award

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees for Britain's Laurence Olivier Awards, held on 6 April, 2025, at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Lighting designer Paule Constable officially became the most honored person in Olivier Awards history with 17 nominations, this year winning her sixth award, (in collaboration with Ben Jacobs,) for the musical Oliver!  at the Gielgud Theatre. It is a fitting end to a storied career for Constable, who will be retiring from new theatre projects this summer.

The Fiddler production, in Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, won design awards for Tom Scutt’s set design and Nick Lidster’s sound design, in addition to best revival.
