YZDITEC will showcase its integrated stage automation architecture at LDI 2026, bringing together 3D simulation and programming, precision motion control, and servo-driven stage machinery in one connected workflow.
At the center is the Black Warrior System, designed to coordinate complex stage machinery as programmable motion axes. The system combines Pando 3D Stage Previsualization, BW Console, BW-MC main controller and distributed BW-DC drive controllers, with EtherCAT communication providing closed-loop control and real-time motion feedback. The architecture supports up to 256 motors, with up to 128 axes in a ring topology, enabling seamless integration with various automated stage machinery units, including servo hoists, winches, performer flying systems, motorized track and trolley systems, stage lifts, motorized LED walls, turntables, and other customized motion platforms.
1. Pando 3D Stage Previsualization: From Virtual Design to Physical Motion
Pando 3D is a 3D simulation, programming, and control software for stage automation. It creates a 1:1 digital representation of physical machinery, allowing users to configure structures, program coordinated motion, visualize trajectories, and validate movements before execution.
Object-based programming, timeline/keyframe editing, automatic collision detection, synchronization-deviation analysis, and real-time telemetry reduce the need for axis-by-axis programming and physical trial-and-error. Virtual axes can be mapped to physical motors through EtherCAT/PLC, creating a direct virtual-to-real workflow.

2. BW Console: One Interface for the Show Lifecycle
The BW Console integrates Pando 3D directly into the stage automation control
workflow. It combines 0.1 mm motion-control precision, visual programming, multi-axis monitoring, DMX512 and Art-Net integration, and redundant operation in a single
control terminal.
With dual-console hot backup, the system is designed to maintain operational continuity in live environments while providing real-time visibility of motor position, speed, load, and system status.

3. C1 Servo Hoist: Precision Motion as a Programmable Axis
The 500 kg C1 Servo Hoist is the physical motion component of the system, combining servo-driven movement, absolute position feedback, ±1 mm positioning accuracy, and EtherCAT control for coordinated multi-axis operation.
Designed for demanding stage applications, the hoist incorporates dual
electromagnetic brakes, an integrated load cell, four-point limit switching, Category 0/1 emergency stopping, and position memory after power loss. It is designed around BGV C1 and EN 17206 requirements, with SIL3-compliant safety functions.
Integrated with the Black Warrior System, multiple C1 Servo Hoists can operate as synchronized motion axes for coordinated movement of trusses, LED structures, scenic elements, track systems, and flying systems.
