On February 3, 2019, the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams headed to the locker rooms with a score of 3-0, the second lowest halftime score in Super Bowl history. Maroon 5 and rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi then took to the field to up the ante with a Halftime Show performance featuring production design by Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Inc. and lighting design by Bob Barnhart of 22 Degrees.
