Es Devlin made a name for herself as a top set designer for plays and operas starting in the late 1990s, until 2005 when she started collaborating with Kanye West, opening the door to the opportunity to design more concert stages, as well. Since then, she’s worked with Muse, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Lenny Kravitz, and now Beyoncé for the Formation World Tour. With Formation, Devlin does the nearly unthinkable: brings I-mag to center stage.
